 We’re happy to announce that we have been hard at work on sound design for République! It’s been a pleasure and an honor to work with Ryan Payton and the insanely talented folks at Camouflaj! For the past month, we’ve been busy designing in-game environments, Foley, and sound effects as well as providing complete audio post for cinematics and a trailer for the Kickstarter funded iOS title. We’re proud to be a part a part of such an ambitious project and are excited to be responsible for bringing a more immersive sonic experience to mobile platforms! République is a game that we’ve been anticipating playing for a long time. Being a part of the project has been a blast!
 Empty Sea’s latest endeavor is the much anticipated DR0NE web series on YOMYOMF Network. We are proud to have provided a full sound editorial, design and mixing package for the project. DR0NE is set in near-future 2023, in a world where humanoid drones have begun to replace human soldiers on the front lines of war. The series stars Lance Reddick (Fringe, Lost, The Wire) and Kenneth Choi (Captain America). DR0NE was written and directed by Robert Glickert and produced by Clark Baker. DR0NE premieres Thursday August 30th on the YOMYOMF Network on YouTube, a new online channel curated by Fast and Furious‘ Justin Lin.
 Empty Sea recently completed a full audio post package for Clark Baker’s SciFi short Vessel, including sound design, foley editorial and a 5.1 mix. The film features some incredibly inspiring images that were absolutely a joy to create sound for. Vessel also features the music of the immensely talented composer Austin Wintory, with whom we were privileged to be working beside. Empty Sea would like to thank Clark for the opportunity to be a part of this film and wish him the best of luck!
“VESSEL is a very ambitious scifi / horror short in the vein of Alien, The Thing and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. VESSEL features a blend of old school, practical creature effects and slick, modern day VFX. The story focuses on Liberty Airlines’ Flight 298 and its passengers.  Marvel Mash-Up is a new series of shorts airing on Disney XD during Marvel Universe. Empty Sea’s Mark Camperell partnered with the folks at Retrofit Films to provide an audio post package, including sound design and mixing, for the entire series. Mash-Up takes classic Marvel series and re-envisions them with new stories and laugh-out-loud comedy. Marvel Mash-Up premieres Sunday April 1st on Disney XD at 11am.
